Connect your AI assistant to Connecto.

Give ChatGPT, Claude, or Claude Code access to Connecto Studios. Your assistant can answer questions about our services and motion pricing, read your account — orders, retainers and briefs — and submit a new project brief for you.

Your MCP server URL

/mcp

You'll paste this URL into your assistant's connector settings (Claude Code connects with a one-line command instead — see below). You'll be asked to sign in with your Connecto account so the assistant acts as you.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's connector settings and enable Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there). If it's unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 2Open the New connector dialog.
  3. 3Enter Connecto Motion Engine as the name and paste the MCP server URL above into the URL field.
  4. 4Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connector, not just this one), then click Create.
  5. 5Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use Connecto — for example, "What motion graphics packages does Connecto offer?"

Claude

  1. 1Open the Add connector dialog — the name and URL are prefilled for you.
  2. 2Review the details and click Add.
  3. 3If the prefilled form doesn't open, open Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it Connecto Motion Engine, and paste the MCP server URL above.
  4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use Connecto.

Claude Code

Run this one line in your terminal — that's the whole install:

  1. 1Run the command above in a terminal.
  2. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Connecto is connected. Claude Code will ask you to sign in with your Connecto account from that menu.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use Connecto — for example, to submit a project brief.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open your client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. 3Name it Connecto Motion Engine and paste the MCP server URL above.
  4. 4Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. 5Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use Connecto.

Refresh after we ship changes

A connected assistant caches the tool list. When we add or change capabilities, refresh the connection to get the latest version.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Connecto Motion Engine.
  2. 2Scroll down to Information and click Refresh.
  3. 3ChatGPT can't update an existing connector's URL — if it changed, delete the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Connecto.

Claude

  1. 1Open the Connectors page and select the Connecto connector.
  2. 2Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. 3Claude can't update an existing connector's URL — if it changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. 4Ask Claude to use Connecto.

Claude Code

  1. 1Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools when it connects.
  2. 2If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove connecto-motion-engine, then run the install command again with the latest URL.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use Connecto.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open the client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. 2Select the connection you created for Connecto.
  3. 3Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. 4If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. 5Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use Connecto.
