1. Who we are
Connecto Studios ("we", "us", "our") is a creative and brand studio based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. For the purposes of data protection law, Connecto Studios is the data controller of the personal data described in this notice.

2. What data we collect
Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you enquire, book a call or create an account.
Account data: login credentials and profile details if you create a client account.
Project data: briefs, brand assets, files and messages you share with us so we can deliver your project.
Usage and device data: pages visited, interactions, approximate location, IP address, browser and device identifiers, collected through analytics and telemetry.
Support data: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, the chat assistant or contact forms.
3. How we use it and why (legal basis)
To provide the service — creating your account, delivering projects, communicating about your brief (performance of a contract).
Security and fraud prevention — protecting accounts, payments and our systems (legitimate interests).
Product improvement — understanding how the site is used so we can improve it (legitimate interests).
Customer support — responding to your questions and requests (performance of a contract / legitimate interests).
Marketing — occasional updates about our work and offers, where you have opted in (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Legal obligations — record-keeping and compliance where the law requires it.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the business: hosting and database infrastructure, analytics, and communication tools.
Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who processes payments, manages subscriptions, handles tax compliance and invoicing when you buy from us. Paddle processes your payment data under its own privacy terms.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
Authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above: account data while your account is active, project records while we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards, and enquiry data for up to 24 months. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority.

7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricting access to those who need it to do their work.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside Nigeria. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections offered by those providers.
